Pushing the Limits - Katie McGarry Something happened to Echo 2 years ago and she is trying her best to remember. She expects to remember, and she expects it to hurt when she does. But what she doesn’t expect is to fall for Noah. Noah that mysterious hot bad boy who has had a rough life.I felt very bad for Echo, not knowing what exactly happened to her, but knowing her mother hurt her. She also lost her brother in Afghanistan. And I admire her for trying to get past it all and moving on. There was something about Noah that I fell in love with. He was tough but there was real pain in his past that made me root for his character even more! They fall in love just when they need someone to lean on the most and I love how each of them had to work through their individual issues and how they tried to help each other with them. There is also a host of fantastic secondary characters that really added to the story, and I can’t wait to read more about them in the next installment – Dare You To!The only reason the book didn’t get 5 stars from is because at times I felt that the story was a bit pushed. That it wasn’t going where it was going naturally. But this is hardly something to worry about. I thought this was a very moving tale of love, loss and acceptance and I think it is a book that most people will fall in love with.
